With a total of 411 runs across five matches at an average of 41.10, Jaiswal jumped three spots to claim the fifth position in the ICC Test rankings. He now trails only Joe Root, Harry Brook, Kane Williamson, and Steve Smith. The rise marks Jaiswal’s first appearance in the top five and underlines his growing stature after the India vs England 2025 series.

Siraj and Prasidh Hit Career-High Rankings

Following India’s historic victory, fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna achieved their personal best ICC Test rankings. Siraj moved up 12 places to 15th after his five-wicket haul in the final innings. Meanwhile, Prasidh rose 25 spots to 59th following his eight wickets in the match. Their standout performances in the India vs England 2025 Test series showcased India’s bowling depth.

Atkinson Cracks Top Ten Test Bowlers

England’s Gus Atkinson also enjoyed a rankings boost. After a strong showing at The Oval, where he took multiple key wickets, Atkinson broke into the ICC Test top ten for the first time. He now shares the 10th position with Mitchell Starc. Teammate Josh Tongue climbed 14 spots to reach 46th place after a consistent series.

Matt Henry Rises After Dominating Zimbabwe

From New Zealand’s tour of Zimbabwe, Matt Henry’s nine-wicket haul earned him the Player of the Match award. As a result, he surged three positions to claim the fourth spot in the ICC Test bowlers’ rankings. Daryl Mitchell also moved up four places to become the ninth-ranked batter globally.
