Doctors diagnosed a blockage in one of his arteries, requiring an urgent angiogram. Under the supervision of cardiologist Moniruzzaman Maruf at Fazilatunnessa Hospital, specialists removed the blockage and placed a stent. Fortunately, Tamim regained consciousness following the procedure, but doctors remain cautious. The first 24 hours were critical, and he will stay under observation for at least 48 hours.

BCB’s chief physician, Debashish Chowdhury, confirmed that Tamim spoke to his family and medical team after surgery.
