IPL 2025 Orange and Purple Cap winners were crowned after a thrilling season finale. B Sai Sudharsan and Prasidh Krishna claimed the top honours in the batting and bowling charts, respectively, as the league concluded in grand fashion.

Sai Sudharsan Tops Orange Cap Table

Despite Gujarat Titans missing out on the final, Sudharsan’s performances ensured he finished as the leading run-scorer of the season. His tally of 759 runs put him ahead of Suryakumar Yadav, who ended with 717 runs for Mumbai Indians. Both batters impressed consistently throughout IPL 2025, but Sudharsan edged ahead with his crucial knocks at the top.

Virat Kohli made a late surge to finish third on the IPL 2025 Orange and Purple Cap winners chart. His 43 runs in the final lifted his total to 657 runs for the season. While Kohli didn’t secure the Orange Cap this time, his form remained crucial to Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s title run. Rounding out the top five were Shubman Gill (650) and Mitchell Marsh (627).

Prasidh Krishna Claims Purple Cap

In the bowling department, Prasidh Krishna took home the Purple Cap after bagging 25 wickets in 15 innings. The Gujarat Titans pacer remained consistent across conditions and helped his team stay in playoff contention. Close behind was Noor Ahmad of Chennai Super Kings, who picked up 24 wickets.

Josh Hazlewood, who played a vital role in RCB’s campaign, ended third among the IPL 2025 Orange and Purple Cap winners with 22 wickets in only 12 matches. His economy and strike rate stood out, even though he missed games due to injury. Arshdeep Singh (21 wickets) and Trent Boult (22 wickets) completed the top five.

MVP Rankings and Final Highlights

Krunal Pandya, named Player of the Match in the final, also climbed to second place in the MVP standings, just behind Suryakumar Yadav. His spell in the final was pivotal, and his all-round impact got deserved recognition.
