This makes him only the sixth Indian player to reach this impressive achievement. His performance laid the groundwork beautifully. Then, Gill took center stage. What an amazing moment!
Shubman Gill’s Awesome Century Leads India to Victory!
After Rohit got out, Shubman Gill took charge of the chase with a fantastic knock of 101 runs off 112 balls. His innings was a delightful mix of calmness and flair, showcasing some beautiful strokes. This kept India in control the whole time. With solid support from KL Rahul, who scored 41 runs off 49 balls, India easily chased down the target in just 46.3 overs. They wrapped up the match with 21 balls to spare. What a wonderful win!
