BCCI Sports Science chief Nitin Patel is overseeing his rehabilitation. Reports suggest he may be cleared by the end of March. However, his participation in MI’s first game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 23 remains doubtful. He could return for their first home game on March 31 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Sanju Samson Awaits Clearance
Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson is close to returning. He recently cleared his fitness test for batting after finger surgery. However, he is still awaiting approval for wicketkeeping. Further tests will decide if he can play against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 23. If he is not fit, Dhruv Jurel will take over as the wicketkeeper.
Lucknow SuperGiants Face Injury Concerns
Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) are facing multiple injury setbacks. Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, and Avesh Khan are all awaiting fitness clearance.
