After winning the toss and electing to bat first, New Zealand posted 251/7 in 50 overs. Daryl Mitchell top-scored with 63 off 101 balls, providing stability to the innings. Michael Bracewell played a crucial unbeaten knock of 53 off 40 balls, accelerating towards the end, while Rachin Ravindra chipped in with a quick 37 off 29 deliveries.
India’s bowling attack was disciplined, with Kuldeep Yadav (2/40) and Varun Chakaravarthy (2/45) leading the charge. Ravindra Jadeja was economical, conceding only 30 runs in his 10 overs, while also picking up a key wicket.
